ALPHONSUS J. ULLRICH

Age 85, passed away on Sunday, September 18th, 2022 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

Alphonsus is survived by his loving family, children, Jason Ullrich, Julie (Derek) Gato, grandchildren, Katelyn Ullrich, Kelly Ullrich, Lauren Gato, Lindsay Gato, siblings, James Ullrich, Raymond Ullrich, Eugene Ullrich, Anna Nance, Ernest (Regina) Ullrich, Lorraine (Jim) Topel, Patricia (Fred) Mitchell, Jacqueline (Bob) Meinzer and many nieces and nephews. 

Alphonsus was preceded in death by his parents, James & Anna Ullrich (Venezia), wife, Margaret Ullrich (Hoekstra), siblings, Catherine Ullrich, Prudence Ullrich, Margaret Magliocco, Bernadette Czopek and Marion Kearns.

Alphonsus was a United States Army Veteran; he retired from Tootsie Roll after 30 years of service. He greatly enjoyed bowling and achieved a sanctioned 300 game; Alphonsus was a friend to many and will be missed.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451 on Thursday, September 22nd, 2022 from 3:00 PM until time of funeral service at 7:00 PM. Interment will be private.
