Barbara Jean Braasch (nee Hauck)
66, of Joliet passed away Sunday, August 11, 2019 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Barbara was born in Joliet to the late Robert and Clara (nee Valentino) Hauck. Barbara was raised by her father and her stepmother the late Edna Hauck. Loving mother of Robin Mendoza, David (Rina), Dale (Jenni) O’Brien, Holly Sexauer, Jake Grahovek, and Brittany Grahovek; cherished grandmother of Kedrick Williams, Alexander Mendoza, Karik O’Brien, Justin O’Brien, Daniel O’Brien, Reagan Nicole, Jayden Smith, Aurora Pretto, Ava and Autumn Mannoja; great grandmother of Kainan Mendoza; dear sister of David (Sandra) Valentino, Russell Doyle, Diana Hauck, Lea Ann (Robin) Hood, Janet Kish, and the late Robert Hauck Jr; loved aunt of numerous nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by a special niece Kerry Tadej. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, New Lenox on Friday, August 16, 2019 from 3pm – 8pm. Funeral Service Saturday, August 17, 2019 at 10:00am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be private.
