Charles A. Homolka

72, of Frankfort, formerly of Mokena passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at his home surrounded by family. Charles was born in Chicago, IL to the late Charles and Ann (nee Zelenka) Homolka. Beloved husband of Janice (nee Holec); loving father of Charice (Ron) Herschbach, Shannon (Paul) Kelch, and Sean (Katie) Homolka; cherished grandfather of Alexis, Taylor, Kendal, and Brandon Herschbach, Nathan, Annie, and Charlie Homolka; dear brother of Rosann Pelka; loved uncle of numerous nieces and nephews; many cousins also survive. Charles was employed by Sun Chemical for 35 years retiring in 2012. He was an avid golfer. In lieu of flowers memorials in Charles’ name to Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, Frankfort on Monday, January 18, 2021 from 3pm – 8pm. Funeral services Tuesday, January 19, 2021 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:15am to St. Mary Catholic Church, Mokena for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am. Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park, IL. Social distancing and masks are MANDATORY for ALL in attendance. No food allowed in the funeral home.
