Cori Seidelmann Ward
Age 73, a resident of Frankfort, formerly of Flossmoor, passed away after a courageous fight against Covid on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.
Cori is survived by and will be deeply missed by her loving family, niece Erika (Michael) Ball; grandchildren Mikey and Isa Ball; sister Ingrid Shults; her dogs Professor Finnegan and Sadie.
Cori was preceded in death by her parents Dr. Otto and Helen (Kempe) Seidelmann and brother-in-law George Shults.
Cori was a proud a graduate of Homewood-Flossmoor High School class of 1966. She adored her classmates and was on the reunion committee. She celebrated many wonderful friendships throughout her life.
A memorial visitation for fully vaccinated friends and family will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Saturday, September 25, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM, with a memorial service in the funeral home chapel at 4:00 PM. Cori’s ashes will be scattered on her beloved Sanibel Island on a future date. In lieu of flowers, donations to gift of hope @ www.giftofhope.org would be greatly appreciated.
