Dennis Lee Mazzorana

Dennis Lee Mazzorana 74 of Frankfort, formerly of Calumet City and Roseland, passed away peacefully Sunday morning June 16th at home with his family at his side. Beloved husband of Theresa nee Ericson for over 54 years. Loving father of Linda, Kelly (Mark) Dinos, Dennis (Gloria), Natalie (John) Alfano, John (Gina), and Joseph. Dearest papa of Brittany, John, Alyssa, Joseph, Michael, Alexandra, Anthony, Michaelah, and Madison. Great grandpa of Brody, Kennedy, Bradley, and Brendon. Dear brother of the late John (late Claudia) Mazzorana and brother-in law of Geraldine (the late Don) Burke, Ruthie (the late John) Trudeau, the late Karleen (the late Roy) Shouse, late Mary (Jim) Wright, late Bernice (the late Joe) Bernier. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Dennis proudly served the Chicago Police department from 1966 to 1975 and the Calumet City police department from 1975 to 1996. Visitation Tuesday June 18th from 3:00 to 9:00 PM at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 65 Old Frankfort Way Frankfort Illinois, 60423. Family and friends asked to meet Wednesday morning 8:30 AM at the funeral home for 9:00 AM prayers and then procession to St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 19515 115th Avenue Mokena Illinois 60448, for the 10:00 AM Mass of Christian burial. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery of Alsip.
