DON B. JOHNSTON
Age 81, of Evanston IL, formerly of Newark IL, Frankfort IL and Sedona AZ, passed away Wednesday, January 30th, 2019 at The Springs of Vernon Hills Assisted Living in Vernon Hills.
Don is survived by his loving family, wife, Marty Johnston (Mercer), sons, Tim (Ana Portillo-Garcia) Johnston, Jeff (Laura) Johnston, grandchildren, Zackary Johnston, Ava Johnston, Marta Johnston-Portillo and Elena Johnston-Portillo.
Don was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald & Nina Johnston (Hanson) and brother Ariel Johnston.
Don was a United States Army Veteran and retired Creative Director from Leo Burnett in Chicago.
Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Monday, February 4th, 2019 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 12:00 PM.
