Age 74 of New Lenox formerly of Chicago passed away August 10, 2011.

Beloved husband and best friend of the late Patricia Ryan. Loving father of Gene (Kathy) Ryan, Dennis (Kate) Ryan, Kevin (Debbie) Ryan, MaryKay (Tony) Yelnick, Tina (Tom) Leen and Patricia (Chris) Johnson. Dear brother of Ann Prunty. Wonderful grandfather of Ian, Colin, Caitin, Cory, Nicole, Kevin, Tim, Matt, Kara, Bryanna, Ryan, Annie, and Sam. Great grandfather to Annalyse.

Preceded in death by his parents, Gerald & Helen Ryan. Loving brother of the late Gerald Ryan, William Ryan, Robert (Jackie) Ryan, Donald (Patricia) Ryan. Dear brother-in-law of the late James Prunty. Loving uncle to many nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, great great nieces, nephews as well as a wonderful friend to many.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL, 60451, Friday, August 12th, 2011 from 3 to 9 PM. Funeral service, Saturday, August 13th, 2011 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:15 AM and then to St. Jude Church, 241 W.
