77, of Homer Glen, passed away Saturday, November 29, 2014 at Holy Family Medical Center, Des Plaines. He was born in Evergreen Park to the late Thomas M. Sr. and Kathleen A. (nee McDade) Sweeney. Father of, Susan (David) Guilmette, Deborah (Thomas) Tadin, Carolyn Sweeney, Heather (Matt) McGuire, Francis Jr. and Priscilla Sweeney; Grandfather of Carolyn Copeland and 10 others; Great grandfather of three; Brother of Thomas (the late Mary) Sweeney, Carol (Jack) Stevenson, Judy Neely and Sherry (Bernie) Streit. Francis was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 from 3 – 9PM. Funeral Service Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at 11:00AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment, Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park.
