Frank Joseph Izzo, 47, of Homer Glen, departed this life suddenly on July 19, 2018. He is survived by his loving family: wife of 28 years, Dawn Izzo nee Coco; their children: Frank “Frankie” Izzo, Jr., Madison Izzo, and Vincent “Vinnie” Izzo; mother: Cynthia “Cyndi” (Denny) Hinds of TN; father: Bruce Izzo of Manteno; siblings: Tony (Shawn) Izzo, Maria Potaczek; mother and father- in-law: Debra and Carmel Coco. Born in Oak Lawn, Frank attended Reavis High School in Burbank. Frank and Dawn married and started their family, first in Hometown and then Mokena before moving to Homer Glen 16 years ago. In 1994, he started working for the Belt Railway of Chicago, working his way up to Superintendent of Transportation. His family was everything to Frank. Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 29th from 12:00 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 5:00 p.m. at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way in Frankfort, IL 60423. In Frank’s memory memorial contributions may be directed to the education of his children. Arrangement entrusted to Heartland Memorial Center.
