Gudrun Skrodal

Gudrun Skrodal (Malmer), 92, of Mokena formerly of Frankfort, passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019. Loving wife of the late Leif Skrodal; beloved mother of Arne (Sue) Skrodal, Robert (Marisa) Skrodal and Linda (James) Bluhm; cherished grandmother of Danielle (David), Erika, Ian (Eri) , ,Emma (Kyle), Haakon, Hanna and Jack; dearest great grandmother of Claire and Emily; dear sister of the late Bjarne (Ginger) Malmer and aunt of many nieces and nephews. Gudrun was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, she enjoyed quilting, and loved making Norwegian waffles. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Monday, January 28, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral service at Immanuel Lutheran Church 10731 W. LaPorte Rd. Mokena IL 60448 on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow to Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Mokena.
