HAL F. GUSTAFSON

Age 93, of New Lenox, passed away on Tuesday, December 17, 2013 at his home in New Lenox.

Hal is survived by his loving family, children, Lee (Barbara) Gustafson, Mark (Bille Cox) Gustafson, Kerry (Al) Kandziorski, grandchildren, Erik, Stephen, Elaine, Lisa and Amy.

Hal was preceded in death by his parents, Harold & Grace Gustafson and wife, Cecelia Gustafson (Wagner).

Hal was a WWII Navy Veteran who served in the USO. He was a member of the WWI Aviation Historical Society Cross & Cockade, and a member of St. Jude Church in New Lenox. Hal was an avid fisherman and award winning model airplane builder.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451, Friday, December 20th, 2013 from 10:00 AM until time of prayers at 12:30 PM at the funeral home chapel and then to St. Jude Church, 241 W. 2nd Avenue, New Lenox, IL 60451 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 PM. Interment, Monday, December 23, 2013 at 9:30 AM at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL, please arrive to the cemetery by 9:15 AM.
