JAMES D. PETERSON

Age 75 of Plainfield, passed away on Saturday, August 6th, 2016 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice Home in Joliet.

James is survived by his loving family, children, Steven (Tracy) Peterson, Wendy Peterson, Diane Bridgett Becerra, dear friend, Silvia Becerra, grandchildren, Sarah (Chris) Porter, Megan Foster, Arielle Peterson and 7 great grandchildren.

James was preceded in death by his parents, Harold & Bonnie Peterson (Parker) former wife, Shelby Jean Nelson and granddaughter Honey Waters.

James began his career as a truck driver. He greatly enjoyed raising and training horses as well as farming for most of his life. James loved spending time with his family during their family gatherings.

Family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton Street, Lockport, IL 60441 on Thursday, August 11th, 2016 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. Interment will be private.
