James E. “Jimmy” Harbin Jr.
Age 49 of New Lenox, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 19, 2019. Devoted husband of Valerie (Dortmann); loving father of Cody James Harbin and Megan Grace Harbin; cherished son of James E. Harbin Sr. and the late Alice Harbin (Lucas); treasured brother of Karen Harbin (Annemarie Martin) and Amy (Gary) Holman; dear son in law of Gary and Betty Dortmann; also survived by numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Jimmy was a loyal husband, father, son, brother, and friend who will be always remembered and never forgotten. He was an avid member and leader of DG Furbowl bowling league. Jimmy was a true handyman and took great pride and dedication in his home and small farm. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Friday, February 22, 2019 from 3-9 PM. Funeral service Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home chapel.
