80, of New Lenox, passed away Monday, May 3, 2021. Jimmie was born in Nashville, TN to the late Willie and Thelma (nee Dunn) Allbert. Beloved husband of the late Sarah Jane (nee Becker) Allbert; loving father of Jeffery (Marsha) Allbert, Julie Szymanski, and Jason (Tina) Allbert; cherished grandfather of Ryan, Reilly, and Reese Szymanski, Marcia and Jonathon Pellegrini; proud great grandfather of Vincent and Anthony Manley; dear brother of Jerry (Beverly) Allbert, Linda Pena, Diane (Al) D’Alberto, and the late Donnie Allbert; loved uncle of numerous nieces and nephews. Jimmie was a Security Guard at Caterpillar Inc. for 40 years retiring in 2001. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Jimmie’s name to Lightways (formerly Joliet Area Community Hospice) would be appreciated. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, New Lenox on Saturday, May 15, 2021 from 10:00am until time of Memorial Service at 1:00pm. Social Distancing and Masks are MANDATORY for ALL in attendance.
