Age 82, passed away on Thursday, March 25th, 2021 at the Cottages of New Lenox.

JoAnn is survived by her loving family, children, Renee Sefcik, Shari (Jim) Hujda, sister, Judy Theisen, grandchildren, Casey Sefcik and Kylie Sefcik.

JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, Joe & Hazel Planinc (Gregorec), husband, Kenneth Sak, brother Robert Planinc and son in-law David Sefcik.

JoAnn was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in New Lenox and the CECO Recreational Club. She was an avid outdoors person who enjoyed camping, boating and waterskiing JoAnn’s passion in life was modeling and she successfully modeled for most of her life.

DUE TO THE COVID 19 PANDEMIC; MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING ARE REQUIRED TO ATTEND SERVICES.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled at 12:00 PM on Saturday, April 24th, 2021 at St. Jude Catholic Church, 241W. 2nd Avenue, New Lenox, IL 60451. Interment will be private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated.
