69, of Joliet passed away Tuesday, February 26, 2019 at his home. John was born in Marinette, WI to the late Vincent A. and Janet S. (nee Rupar) Schultz. Devoted father like mentor to Joshua Pemble and cherished “grandfather” of Amya, Joshua Jr, and Alexia Pemble; loving brother of James (Debbie) Schultz, Diane Allen, Elias Bartley, Paul Schultz, David (Penny) Schultz, and the late Linda Ulsmith; proud uncle of Stephanie, Janet, Erica L., Clayton, Shaina, Triston, Amber, Butch, Amy, the late Michael, and the late David Jr; dear friend Gary Olds and many other friends also survive. John was a retired after 38 years of service as machinist for General Motors. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, New Lenox on Friday, March 1, 2019 from 4:00pm until time of Memorial Service at 8:00pm.
