Judy D. Staffan

It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Judy D. Staffan, age 76, of Lemont, IL. She passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on March 28th, 2023. Judy is survived by her loving husband Edward of 47 years, her two daughters Chrissy (Kevin) Keith, and Nicole (Paul) Kress, 4 grandchildren she cherished dearly Kayla & Caden Keith, Preston & Hudson Kress.

Judy was born on December 19th,1946 to Opal and Arnold Handley in Alabama. Judy devoted her life to her family. There was no greater love than she had for Edward, her daughters, her sons- in-law, of course her grand dogs Max Keith & Lincoln Kress, but most importantly her grandchildren. You would find Namma on the floor playing with each grandchild, jumping in a bounce house with them, treating them to ice cream, or giving the best hugs you could ever ask for. She loved doing aerobics, listening to Kenny Rogers, and was the best baker in the entire world. Judy was a devoted Christian who loved Jesus and helping others. Judy was a dear friend to so many and will be greatly missed by those who were blessed enough to know her.

The family will receive friends at St. Jude Catholic Church, New Lenox, IL on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 10:00am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am. Interment to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL
