Kathleen M. Arnstrom

July 26, 1948 — August 28, 2021

Kathleen (nee McGuire) Arnstrom, age 73, passed away on Saturday, August 28th, 2021 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

Kathleen is survived by her loving husband Alan Arnstrom; Children, Dawn Pelnarsh, Ryan (Jessica) Arnstrom, and Sean (Jessica) Arnstrom; grandchildren, Abigail Pelnarsh, Jack Pelnarsh, Mason Arnstrom, Adalyn Arnstrom, Talan Arnstrom, Jolene Arnstrom, Cooper Arnstrom, and Josh DaVanon; siblings, Daniel (Susan) McGuire, and Karen McGuire; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Margaret (nee Boyce) McGuire.

Kathleen will be remembered for her wonderful ability to quilt. She also found much enjoyment in gardening as well. Her biggest pride in life though was her beloved grandchildren who referred to her as “Namers” and “Nafers”. Kathleen loved being a grandmother and her grandchildren meant the world to her. Her family will remember her for being a loving wife, mother and grandmother who baked the best chocolate chip cookies in the world. Kathleen will be missed by all that knew her.

Services for Kathleen will begin on Thursday, with a visitation at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd. in New Lenox from 4-8pm. There will be a short visitation on Friday, at the Funeral Home from 10-11am before leaving in procession to Wilton Center Cemetery where Kathleen will be laid to rest. MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING IS MANDATORY.
