KENNETH W. NORTON

Age 77, of Shorewood passed away Monday, January 22nd, 2018 at his home in Shorewood.

Kenneth is survived by his loving family, children, Scott (Stacey) Norton, Michele Norton, Jennifer Norton, Jeff (Brenda) Norton, former wife, Jayne Norton (Terlep), step-children, John Persic III, Amanda Persic, Brittany Persic, siblings, Roseanne Wilson, Shirley Lindberg, grandchildren, Catie Norton, Jacob Norton, Tyler Norton, Reece Norton, Cade Norton, step-grandchildren, Paige Persic, Taylor Persic, Colin Persic, Ethan Persic, Isabella Lardi, Carter Persic and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Harold & Pearl Norton (Rossio), wife, Suzanne Norton (Miller), siblings, Harold Norton, Betty Svoboda and Joe Bertot.

Kenneth was a graduate of Lockport Central High School class of 1958. He was an extremely gifted basketball player during his high school years and also played for Joliet Junior College. Kenneth was the President and Owner of Joliet Construction Company which was established in 1973. He was a former member of the Will County Contractors Association and attended St. Jude Catholic Church in New Lenox.
