LEROY A. SKINKIS

Age 72, of Frankfort, passed away on Thursday, March 24th, 2016 at the Joliet Area Community Hospice House in Joliet.

Leroy is survived by his loving family, wife, Mary Skinkis (Zarnecki) children, Shari Skinkis, Matthew Skinkis, siblings, Robert (Mary Ann) Skinkis, Sandra Soden, Cynthia Melton, Ann Marie (David) Balderas, sister-in-law, Kathy Skinkis and several nieces and nephews.

Leroy was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph & Lottie Skinkis (Labus) and brother, Richard Skinkis.

Leroy was a United States Army Veteran who served as a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne and a member of the Frankfort VFW Post #1493.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Wednesday, March 30th, 2016 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 12:30 PM. Interment, Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Joliet Area Community Hospice would be appreciated.
