LORRAYNE MARGARET ROBERTSON
(MANOW)

Age 94 of Burbank, Illinois passed away peacefully at home on January 24, 2022 surrounded by her loving daughters.

Lorrayne was born in Chicago, Illinois on November 4, 1927 to Arthur and Anna (Hecht) Manow and graduated from Lindblom High School in 1945. She married Merle Robertson on November 23, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois. Merle preceded her in death on November 13, 2002. They were the proud parents of six children.

She is survived by her children; Karen (Jim) Hronek; Kathleen (Richard) Wierzbicki; Daniel (Angie) Robertson; Mary Beth (Gerald) O’Connell; Patricia (Hal) Hopkins; and Bernadette (Bruce) Baker. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Eric, Kevin, Daniel, Lara, Brandy, Patrick, Lauren, Claire, Kelsey, Alex and Amy; along with 12 great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Lorrayne had two sisters, Joan Littleton (deceased) and Patricia Hayes.

She loved music…from singing choir in high school to after Sunday dinner concerts accompanied by her piano-playing father. She also shared a fondness for the folk music her teenage children listened to.

Lorrayne lived for her family. She was a loving wife and devoted matriarch with a modest and unimposing demeanor. Her precious values live on in her children, and grandchildren.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Saturday, January 29th, 2022 from 4:00 PM until time of the funeral service at 7:00 PM. Interment will be private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood IL.
