Maria B. Desmond (nee Ruth)

32, of Springfield Missouri formerly of New Lenox, Collinsville and Edwardsville, Illinois, passed away, February 5, 2013. She is survived by her loving family; mother Julie Ruth (nee Gramlich); father Douglas Ruth; brothers Samuel and Anthony Ruth; grandparents Elvie Gramlich and Fay Ruth; uncle Merl Gramlich. Her family appreciated her being a free spirit and being true to herself. Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox IL 60451 from 10:00am until time of memorial service in the funeral home chapel at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Sierra club or American Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
