Age 84, of Frankfort passed away Tuesday, May 7th, 2019 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

Maria is survived by her loving family, children, Elsa Cortez, Alejandro S. (Cristina) Polanco, daughter-in-law, Kimberly Polanco, grandchildren, Belinda Cortez, Michael Cortez, Alex Polanco, Kyle Polanco and Nicholas Polanco.

Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Alejandro H. Polanco, son, David S. Polanco and brother, Ramon Gonzalez.

Maria attended St. Anthony Catholic Church in Frankfort and was an active volunteer in the Frankfort Township area; she especially enjoyed helping with the Meals on Wheels program.

Family will receive friends Monday, May 13th, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423.
