MERLE J. MENTZER

Age 74, of New Lenox, passed away Saturday, April 28th, 2012 at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox.

Merle is survived by his loving family, wife, Judith Mentzer (Fenn), children, Gail (Steve) Shroba, Carl (Christine) Mentzer, Beth (James) Loucks, Chris Mentzer, siblings, Pat Criss, Janice (Marty) Knarr, grandchildren, Amy, Emily (Jason), Andrea, Aaron, Dane (Nikki), Bethany, Logan, Haley, Mariah, Max, Mason, Christian, great grandchildren, Matthew, Alexandra, Skylar, Keighley and numerous nieces and nephews.

Merle was preceded in death by his parents, Merrill V. & Lucille Mentzer (Krauss), sister, Lori Shick and grandson Christopher Mentzer.

Merle was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Mokena.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451, Wednesday, May 2nd, 2012 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM and again at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 10731 W. LaPorte Road, Mokena, IL 60448 on Thursday, May 3rd, 2012 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM. Interment, St. Johns Cemetery, Mokena, IL.
