Michael G. Kettmann, 84 of Matteson, IL, formerly of Palos Park, Navy Veteran, passed away January 3, 2012 in Tampa, FL. Loving father of Michael (Cathe), David (Debbie), Don (Gael), Linda (Brian) Downey, James (Cheryl), Jean (Timothy) Miller, Peggy (Pete) Wasilewski, Lori (David) Millsaps, Patti (Dan) Dwyer, proud grandfather of 26. Dear brother of the late John (late Lorraine), former husband of the late LaVerne and dear friend of many. Mikes greatest passion was his grandchildren. He enjoyed his summers in Michigan, winters in Florida, golfing, and woodworking. A member of Sheet Metal Workers' Local 73. Visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Monday, January 9, 2012 from 3-9pm. Funeral service on Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 10:00am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to Homes for our Troops, 6 Main St, Taunton, Ma 02780 in memory of Michael Kettmann would be appreciated.
