MICHAEL P. CUMMINGS

Age 63 of Blue Island, passed away on Sunday, December 30th 2018 at his home.

Michael is survived by his loving family, dear friend, Ruth Coyle, siblings, Kathleen (Raymond) Pora, Jean Cummings, James (Kathy) Cummings, Sister Matthew Marie OP, Sister Marie Blanchette OP, aunt, Sister Mirian Patrick Cummings SSND, uncle, Walter Miller and numerous nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, James & Marilyn Cummings (Miller).

Michael was a United States Navy Veteran and a very active member of the Route 66 Preservation Society. He was also a member of the Airheads BMW Motorcycle Club, strong supporter of Toys for Tots and huge slot car racing enthusiast.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Friday, January 4th, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Saturday, January 5th, 2019 with prayers at the funeral home at 11:30 AM and then to St. Anthony Catholic Church, 7659 Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM. Interment will be private at St. Michael Catholic Cemetery, Orland Park IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to Toys for Tots would be greatly appreciated.
