Age 83, passed away Friday, August 19, 2011 at Joliet Area Community Hospice Home. Born in Louisiana, MO, living in New Lenox for over 40 years. Joseph was a Purchasing Agent for Mobil Oil. He was a WWII U.S. Navy Veteran and an avid golfer, hunter and fisherman. Survived by his loving family; wife Kathryn “Kitty” (nee Page); sons, Gary and David (Judy); grandsons, Adam (Michelle), Joshua (Carissa), Alex and Mike; 3 great grandchildren; and a sister Dorothy (James) Sansing. Preceded in death by his parents Tinsley W. and Adelaide (nee Tenney) McCune and his sisters Florence (the late Scotty) Brown and Mary Virginia Foreman. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 from 4-8PM. Funeral Service and Interment will take place on Saturday, August 27, 2011 in Louisiana, MO.
