Milton Smazik
Age 85, of Homer Glen, formerly of Brookfield, passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014. Beloved husband of Laverne A. nee Homolka; loving father of Sheree L. Smazik and Mark M. (Jill A.) Smazik; cherished grandfather of Melanie A. Smazik; dear brother of Joseph Smazik and the late George (Ann-Britt) Smazik; also survived by 2 nephews Kenneth and David Smazik. Milton was a Merchant Marine and World War II Army Veteran, member of the American Truck Historical Society, and longtime member of the Antique Automobile Club of America. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Saturday, July 19, 2014 from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 1:00 PM. Interment Woodlawn Memorial Park II, Joliet, IL. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Parkinson's Disease Association, 135 Parkinson Ave., Staten Island, NY 10305 appreciated.
