Santino "Tino" Lettieri, 72, of Mokena passed away April 2, 2017. Beloved husband of Nancy (Kmetz); loving father of Michelle Maxeiner, Nicole (Mark) Bishop, and Danielle Lettieri; cherished grandfather of Madison Maxeiner, and Willow & Cheyenne Bishop. Brother of Sam (Assunta), late Guy (late Helen), sister Esilda (Frank), Mario (Kathy), Frank (Nikki), brother in law of Robert (Georgene) Kmetz and Kathryn (Ray) Jones and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Tino retired from Mario's Butcher Shop, was the owner of Mokena Liquors, and a truck driver for US Steel Supply. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and served in Viet Nam. He was an active member of the Mokena Lions Club, Tinley Park America Legion Post 615, 4th Degree Knights of Columbus of St. Mary's Church, Freedom Riders, Chapter 615 American Legion Riders, and the Mokena Chamber of Commerce. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Friday, April 7, 2017 from 3:00 to 9:00 PM. Funeral service Saturday, April 8, 2017 with chapel prayers at 11:30 AM to St. Mary Catholic Church, 19515 115th Ave, Mokena, IL 60448 for a 12:00 Noon Mass of Christian Burial. The family will meet on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Kurtz Memorial Chapel in New Lenox at 10:00 AM to process to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood for a 11:00 AM Committal service with full military honors.
