Ms. Josephine M. Weir

Josephine Mary Weir nee Landski, 84, born at home in Chicago, and life long resident of the south-side; passed away on Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at Willow Falls Assisted Living in Crest Hill. Beloved wife of the late Edward Weir. Josephine is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Special aunt and friend to Juliean (Scott) Ebenroth-Kijek-Buckley. She was preceded in death by her parents Jozef "Loncki" and Martha "Szczcina" Landski and her siblings Steve (Eleanor) Landski, Sophie (Chester) Jaros, Mary (Robert) Ebenroth/Jacobi, Ted Landski, Frank Landski, and Theresa (Frank) Stec. She retired as machine operator from the American Can Company. The family will receive friends at Goodale Memorial Chapel, 912 S. Hamilton St., Lockport, IL 60441 on Monday, December 9th, 2013 from 3:00 to 9:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, December 10th, 2013 at 11:00 AM at Resurrection Cemetery in Justice, IL.
