Patricia D. Hammer

Patricia D. Hammer, age 85, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 13, 2023 at Alden Estates in Naperville with her family by her side.

Patricia is survived by her beloved children, Chris Hammer, and Denise Hammer; daughter-in-law Laura Hammer; grandchildren, Matthew and Michael Hammer; and her brother George Rackett.

She is preceded in death by her husband Victor Hammer.

Patricia was an elementary school teacher at both Caroline Bentley and Oster Oakview in New Lenox for a number of years. She was the past president of the Catholic Lady’s Auxiliary at St. Jude Catholic Church in New Lenox. She was an avid and passionate bowler, she could often be seen striking pins at Country Lanes.

Services for Patricia will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2023 with a visitation at St. Jude Catholic Church, 241 W. 2nd Street, in New Lenox, with a visitation from 10am until the time of Mass at 11am. Arrangements entrusted to Kurtz Memorial Chapel.
