Ronald Stanley Koziel

Ronald Stanley Koziel, age 80, a resident of Frankfort, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at his home with his family by his side. Loving husband of Mary Koziel (St. Germain); beloved father of Kathryn (Kevin) Boehm, Brian (Lori) Koziel, Deborah (late Chad) Carder, Sean (Weronika) Koziel and Jonathan (Valari) Koziel; cherished grandfather of Samantha (Kevin) Morton, Kaitlin Boehm, Madeline Boehm, Bradley Koziel, Graham Koziel, Clark Koziel, Evelyn Koziel, Dylan Koziel, Edward Koziel and Annette Koziel; proud great grandfather of Brynn Morton. He was preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Helen (Rimkus) Koziel; brother Richard Koziel and granddaughter Marissa Koziel. Ronald worked for Whiting Corporation as a structural design engineer. A visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Sunday, August 7, 2022, from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Prayer service in the funeral home chapel on Monday, August 8, 2022, at 9:30 AM leaving for St. Anthony Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow to Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park. In lieu of flowers memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Ronald's name would be appreciated.
