STEVE R. PENTEK

Age 88, of Mokena, passed away Monday, July 9th, 2012 at Marley Oaks Assisted Living in Mokena.

Steve is survived by his loving family, children, Steven (Pat) Pentek, Therese (Robert) Kaplan, Richard (Linda) Pentek, brother, Ernest (Anne) Pentek, grandchildren, Melissa (Brian) Resac, Michael (Sarah) Pentek, Renee (Kevin) Cohen, Tracy (Brian) Jablonski, Scott (Charissa) Kaplan, Maggie Pentek, Nicholas Pentek, great grandchildren, Joseph Cohen, Charles Cohen and Charlotte Jablonski.

Steve was preceded in death by his wife, Michaeline Pentek (Pataluch).

Steve was a WWII Army Veteran as well as a member of the American Legion and the Elks. He was a retired Lieutenant of the Chicago Fire Department House #25.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Road, New Lenox, IL 60451, Tuesday, July 10th, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Wednesday, July 11th, 2012 at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Interment, Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
