Theodore Robert Spreadbury

Theodore (Ted) R. Spreadbury, of Frankfort, Illinois, passed from this earth on January 18, 2022, at the age of 71 after a brief illness.

Ted was born on February 25, 1950, to Walter and Mary Spreadbury in Chicago, Illinois. Ted graduated from JFK High School in 1969. He received many technical certificates over the years. He was a professional spitball shooter and nerf gun enthusiast. He retired from the United States Postal Service.

Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mary Spreadbury, and his sister, Claren (Cookie) Anderson.

He is survived by his three daughters, Vicki Farmer (Dennis), Mandi Foster, and Teddi Russell, eight grandchildren: Night Foster, Seth Foster, Haillie, Hollie (Colton Brown), Haven, Harley, Hazel, and Havanna Russell and two great-grandchildren, Lincoln and Madilyn Brown, seven brothers, Fred (Cynthia), Walter or Jay (Pat), Ed, Larry, Jon (Rose), Sy and Ty (Cindy) Spreadbury, and his significant other, Vicky Stasulas.

Visitation will be held at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Saturday, January 22, 2022, from 3:00-6:00pm. The funeral service will be in the same location at 6:00p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your favorite charity that supports veterans. His favorites include Disabled American Veterans and Tunnels to Towers.
