Thomas S. Sommers

Thomas S. Sommers, age 76, a resident of Frankfort formerly of Alsip and Beverly, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 12, 2022. Loving husband of Antoinette Sommers (Giglio); beloved father of Judy Sommers (Dave) Hanson and Donna (Tim) Guerin; dearest brother of late twin sister Jean (late Thomas) Davare, late Eileen (late William) O’Brien, and Richard (Virginia) Sommers; cherished grandfather of Kailyn Hanson, twins Sean and Brigid Guerin and Thomas Richards, Jr. Thomas was a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the American Legion in New Lenox. Thomas was a devoted fan of the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Blackhawks and his grandchildren’s sports. A memorial visitation will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church 7659 Sauk Trail, Frankfort IL 60423 on Thursday, August 25th, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 10:30 AM with a memorial mass at 10:30 AM. Inurnment with military honors will follow to Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
