Age 69, of New Lenox, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at his home. Tim was born in Chicago to Elizabeth (nee Hoffman) and the late John A. Connolly. Beloved husband of Michelle L. (nee Mulligan); loving father of Michael J. (Tina) Connolly, Daniel T. (Sandy) Connolly and Lynn (Olaf) Knopp; cherished grandfather of Michael, Dominic, Jack, Vincent and Brett; dear brother of Mary Ann (James) Connelly and the late John P. (the late Diane) Connolly. Tim was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. He retired as Store Manager from Jewel Foods after 35 years of service. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Tim's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital or Shriners Hospitals for Children. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 9:00am – 11:00am then to St. Jude Catholic Church 241 W. Second Ave, New Lenox for Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am. Inurnment with Honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.
