Valerie J. Hoholik (nee Hibbott)
70 of Monee, formerly of New Lenox and Florida, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021 at Silver Cross Hospital, New Lenox, IL. Valerie was born in Evergreen Park, IL to the late Richard and Marrianne (nee Gage) Hibbott. Beloved wife of almost 50 years of James E. Hoholik; loving mother of Jaimie (Ty) Gregory and Megan (John) Lynch; cherished grandmother of Gabrielle (Nick) King, Fianna Gregory, Dylan Gregory, and Riley Lynch; dear sister of Richard (Barbara) Hibbott; loved aunt of numerous nieces and a nephew. Valerie was married to her high school sweetheart for over 49 years. She loved spending time with family, and loved cooking, baking, and catering. She was a woman of many talents that included sewing, making porcelain dolls, and making stained glass. Valerie especially loved the beach and hunting for seashells. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, New Lenox on Thursday, December 23, 2021 from 3:00pm until time of Memorial Service at 7:00pm.
