William Cunningham

William Cunningham, age 72 a longtime resident of Frankfort, passed away on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 surrounded by his family. Loving husband of Darlene Cunningham (Pluzinski); beloved father of Tracy Cunningham, Kristin (Luke) Kotara, Caroline (Greg) Gerritsen and Jenna (Ryan) Menard; dearest brother of Patricia (Charles) Salvatore; cherished papa of Ryan, Jackson, Emmerson, Paeyton, Mason, Josephine, Everleigh and Brinley. William was a veteran of the United States Navy served in Vietnam as part of the Submarine Service. He was a member of IBEW Local 134 Union. He was a member of the United States Submarine Veterans, the American Legion, and Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Thursday, March 25, 2021 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM. ALL IN ATTENDANCE ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK AND SOCIAL DISTANCE. NO FOOD IS ALLOWED IN FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services on Friday, March 26, 2021 prayers in the funeral home chapel at 9:30 AM leaving for St. Anthony Catholic Church, Frankfort for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Interment with military honors at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
