Winifred Medchuk (nee Bailey)
Age 94, of Mokena, formerly of Hickory Hills and Chicago, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017. Loving wife of the late Andrew; beloved mother of Jill (Jay) Piotrowski and the late Paul; cherished grandmother of Megan and Thomas; dearest sister of the late Fred (late Lucille) and late Raymond Bailey, late Irene (late Chuck) Mooney, late Violet (late Edward) Zeman and the late Dorothy (late John) Greene; fond sister- in- law of Rose (Ed) Fetchko; proud aunt of many nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews. She was an active member of Savior Divine Lutheran Church in Palos Hills, a member of Hickory Hills Women's Club and an avid baker. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 3-8PM and again on Monday, December 11, 2017 from 10:00AM until time of funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11:00AM.
