Abelardo V. Tijerina

Abelardo V. Tijerina was born in Asherton, Tx to the late Juan and Aurora Tijerina and passed away January 6, 2025. Beloved husband of 61 years to Anita (nee Ochoa) Tijerina, loving father of Randolph (Elvelina) Tijerina, Daniel (Stephanie) Tijerina, and Marcy (Vince) Valentine; proud papi of Austin Tijerina, Lily Valentine, Luke Valentine, Lance John Valentine, and Daniel Tijerina; Great papi of Austin Tijerina; dear brother of Amparo; uncle of many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be at Kurtz Memorial Chapel on Friday January 10, 2025 from 3-8pm with a chapel service with military honors at 6:00pm.
