Age 79, a resident of New Lenox, formerly of Tampa, FL, New York, NY, and Rockville Centre, NY passed away on Friday, September 21, 2018. Beloved husband of the late Irene De Vito (Adiarte); loving father of Stephanie (Michael) Hogan and Michael (Linda) De Vito; cherished grandfather of Elizabeth De Vito, Amanda De Vito, Maxwell De Vito, Sophia De Vito, Evan Hogan, and Connor Hogan and step-grandfather of Kayla Gomez, Preston Gomez, and Alex Gomez; dear brother of Ann (late William) Hickey; dear cousin of Carol (Ted) Armas and Monsignor Thomas Modugno. Albert was United States Marine Corps Veteran. He graduated from Fordham University with his bachelor’s degree Business Administration, and was in advertising for the Penny saver and retired in 2003. The family will meet at St. Jude Catholic Church, 241 W. 2nd Ave., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Friday, September 28, 2018 for a 10:00 AM Mass of Christian Burial. Visitation to follow at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd., New Lenox, IL 60451 on Friday, September 28, 2018 from 3-9 PM. Interment private.
