Andree Emlienne Gilarski

Andree Emlienne Gilarski, age 97, passed away Friday, August 28th, 2020
Andree was born in Neuves Maison, France on October 26, 1922.

Andree is survived by her loving family: Daughter Claudine Gilarski, son Robert, and wife (Laura) Gilarski, her 2 grandchildren, Christa Gilarski and Collin Gilarski, nieces Elaine (George) Godomski, Pat Zawierski, Denise Truxal, Lilly Varner and numerous great, and great-great nieces/nephews, as well as very close family friends.

Andree was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert E. Gilarski, who passed away July 30th, 1988 at the age of 66, three brothers, three sisters and niece Susie Ballon.

Andree was a war bride, marring her husband Robert, on March 3rd, 1944 in France. They were married for 44 years and resided in Lansing, Illinois.

Andree worked as a professional seamstress. She designed and created beautiful clothing for many. Andree excelled at needle point, crochet, and knitting as well.

She greatly enjoyed spending time with her family, “grand dogs” and friends.
