Anna Z. Ligon

Anna Zahradka Ligon, 88, of Frankfort, IL and Southern Shores, NC, formerly of Richmond, VA, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on May 21, 2017. She was the widow of Archie H. Ligon and is survived by her devoted daughter, Debbie Ligon White (Steve), granddaughter Meredith White, nieces Letha Z. Kern (Nick), L. Gayle England and Jodie T. Yerly, nephews Tom Thompson (Elizabeth), Mark England and Mickey Wilkinson (the late Sue) and several great nieces and nephews. Anna was a member of Duck Woods Country Club for many years and was an avid golfer and bridge player who amassed many lifelong friends while living on the outer banks. A memorial service is being held on the outer banks in North Carolina at a later date with interment beside her beloved husband at the Southern Shores Cemetery.
