Anthony "Tony" Manestar, Sr., 83, of Orland Park, formerly South Holland, January 1, 2018. Survived by his loving family: Sons: Anthony "Tony" (Sandi) Manestar of St. John, IN; Bruce (Robin) Manestar of St. John, IN; grandchildren: Brad, Tracey, Ryan Manestar, Amber (Bryan) Rettig, Anthony (Jasmin) Rodriguez, great-grandchildren: Zoie, Emma, Ronin; siblings: John (Florence) Manestar, Maryann (Pete) Sartori, Rose (John) Rachford. Preceded in death by his wife Lois M. (nee Reitz) Manestar and brothers: Joe (Elsie) and Phil (Wanda) Manestar. Tony was raised in Chicago. He worked as an auto mechanic in Roseland and Cal City before working for 24 years at the Illinois Central RR. He retired as a conductor in 2000. A Memorial Reception will be held on Sat., Jan. 13th from 2:00 p.m.- 6:00 p.m. at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort. Memorials may be directed to donor's choice.
