Arnold "Butch" Becker, Jr.

Age 65, of New Lenox formerly of Joliet and Manhattan, passed away Friday, December 13, 2013 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Butch was born in Joliet, IL to Helen (nee Waldvogal) and the late Arnold Becker Sr. Beloved husband of Jackie (nee Knupp); Loving father of Gina (Cesar) Espinoza and Chris (Nicole); Dear brother of Dewey (Kathy), Delores (Wayne) Hansen, Jimmy (Bernie), Janet Duke, Gene (Becky) and Diane (Mike) Hibler; cherished grandfather of Nevaeh, Eva, Joaquin and Alayna also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, sister in laws, brother in laws and friends. Butch was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, retired as an Electrical Motor Mechanic for Joliet Equipment, he was an avid fisherman and model railroad hobbyist. Family will receive friends at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 102 E. Francis Rd, New Lenox on Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 2 – 8PM. Funeral service Monday, December 16, 2013 in the funeral home chapel at 11:00am. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood IL.
