Arthur L. Mckeawn, age 75, of Palos Heights, formerly of Chicago, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2014. Beloved husband of Bernadette (nee Hayes); Loving father of Kitty White, Molly (Mike) Leone, Marijo (Bob) Dubin, Cara (Joe) Welsh; dearest brother of Kay McKeown; cherished grandpa of Maddie, Mikey, Samantha, Zoe, Duncan, Grace, Artie, Maisey and Patrick; fond brother in law of late Pat (Paul) Hudak, late Joyce (Don) Esposito, Margo (Jerry) Clements, Chris (Don) Davis and Terri(Late Brian) Hill; dear uncle to numerous nieces and nephews. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army National Guard and delivered meals to the elderly for PLOWS. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Sunday, July 20, 2014 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Monday, July 21, 2014 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:00 AM and then to St. Alexander Parish, 7025 W. 126th St., Palos Heights, IL 60463 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM.
