ARTHUR M. BARNAS

Age 91, of New Lenox, passed away on Thursday, September 7th, 2023 at his home in New Lenox.

Arthur is survived by his loving family, nieces and nephews, Jerome (Marlene) Barnas, Joyce (Glen) Kappel, John (Mary) Barnas, Jeffrey Barnas, Julie (William) Bulow, Brian (Joyce) Barnas, Nadine (Peter) Roggeman, niece in-law, Mary Barnas and many great nieces and nephews.

Arthur was preceded in death by his parents, Albert M. & Helen Barnas (Potocki), siblings, Julius (late Jane) Barnas, Chester Barnas, Robert (late Elizabeth) Barnas and nephew James Barnas.

Arthur was a graduate of Mt. Carmel High School and the owner of Ace Hardware in Orland Park and Evergreen Park since 1954 and retired in 1999.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort IL 60423 on Monday, September 11th, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Funeral service, Tuesday, September 12th, 2023 with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30 AM and then to St. Anthony Catholic Church, 7659 W. Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL 60423 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL.
