Age 25 a lifelong resident of New Lenox passed away on Wednesday, January 3rd 2023.

Ben is survived by his loving family, parents Linda Alvarado (Edwards), Abel (Tiwana) Alvarado, siblings Nicholas (Mariah) Alvarado, Christina Alvarado, aunts Cindy (Barry) Underwood, Ruth (Dennis) Shutty, and several other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Ben was preceded in death by his grandparents Kenneth Edwards, Laura Dawn Edwards (Marco), Luis Alvarado, and Adela Gutierrez (Arias), and by his sister Marissa Alvarado.

Ben was a hardworking and dedicated engineer. He graduated from the University of Iowa, where he was on the Dean's List, with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and a minor in Mathematics.

Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel, 65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423 on Friday, January 13, 2023, from 3:00 PM until time of the funeral service at 7:00 PM. Interment, Saturday, January 14, 2023, at 11:00 AM at Riverview Cemetery, Marseilles.
