88, of Homer Glen, passed away at his home on Monday, August 3, 2020 surrounded by his family. Bernhard was born in Lingen (Ems), Germany on October 2, 1931 to the late Richard and Charlotte (nee Namokel) Hielscher. Beloved husband of Agnes (nee Schindlbeck) Hielscher; loving father of Silvia (Marvin) Prickel; cherished grandfather of Ryan Prickel and Jason Prickel. Family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel on Friday, August 7, 2020 from 11:00am until time of Memorial Service at 12:00pm. Social distancing and wearing of masks are MANDATORY for those in attendance.
