Age 91, of Lockport, passed away Sunday, February 17th, 2013 at ManorCare of Westmont in Westmont.

Bernice is survived by her loving family, daughter, Marilyn Mantooth, grandchildren, Daniel (Faith) Mantooth, Danise (David) Jones and four great grandchildren.

Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, Michael & Mary Juresich, husband, Daniel Petre, three sisters, six brothers and son-in-law, Jay Mantooth.

Bernice was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lockport as well as a longtime employee of the Joliet Herald Newspaper.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 410 S. Jefferson Street, Lockport, IL 60441 Monday, February 25th, 2013 at 11:00 AM. Interment will be private.
